The founders of Atelier Otis share a meticulous eye for spatial planning and an instinct for creating layered interiors that feel comfortable, sophisticated and modern.

With backgrounds in fashion, marketing and creative direction, interior design was a natural progression for the duo. Otis trained in fashion design at Central Saint Martins, leading to a career that honed his distinctive eye for colour, detail and composition. Ian’s career in marketing took him from record labels to launching some of London’s finest dining spaces, developing a deep appreciation for environments that balance impact with functionality.

Together, they believe that understanding the history and character of a building is an essential starting point for any design.

Inspired by contemporary art, antiques and craftsmanship, Atelier Otis works across both residential and commercial projects. Their spaces are thoughtfully composed—designed to feel timeless, invite conversation and, above all, be lived in.
